” Woah, we’re half way there. Woah, livin’ on a prayer”. We are 20 weeks and half way there! Everything is getting more real and even more exciting. I feel like I constantly have something on my to-do list or something I should be researching. I love check-lists and I find a weird satisfaction from crossing something off a list. I started a binder with a weekly check-list I found on Pinterest. Also, I printed out a hospital bag check-list, registry check-list and I am making a to-do list to help with nesting around the house. I will link below some of the lists I have found helpful so far.
I feel like with a baby there is so much to do and so much to learn/research, I am trying to stay on top of things. Realistically though, my mind says cross something off your to-do list tonight. My body however, after work, says take a nap. Dale and I are really enjoying this season together. We have been trying to go on regular walks a few nights a week, so I can stay active . On our walks we talk, dream and plan about the months ahead.
We had our anatomy scan two weeks ago and it was so perfect. Although we didn’t find out the gender, it was still so fun. Baby W was so active. At one point baby even had its pointer finger up, probably saying, “I’m number one”. I think the closer we get to being parents the cheesier we get. Dales already got the dad jokes down. We are ready.
