March 5, 2017

After we told family and friends we were keeping the gender of the baby a surprise, their main question was, how would we find gender neutral clothes? While shopping was a little bit of a challenge, we enjoyed finding neutral outfits for a baby boy or girl. There are so many cute patterns, colors, and ideas now thanks to Instagram, Pinterest and Etsy. I will still be doing a huge shopping spree once we find out the gender.  I have found some really cute gender…

Happy 31 weeks and 5 days to me and little babe. The prior weeks have been fast and busy. I can slowly see that it’s starting to seem like the weeks are longer as we get closer and I get more anxious to meet our little one. While I still feel like I have a list a mile long to complete before baby gets here I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The nursery is…

Meeting Selena Gomez

June 26, 2016

This Wednesday was my 26th birthday. So naturally, I celebrate like any normal 26 year old would by going to a Selena Gomez concert! One of my besties, Alex, got us meet and greet tickets saw we got to see Selena before the show. The day was so fun. I went to Alex’s house before and she did my makeup (she used to work at Sephora and is a makeup guru). We then went to the venue, and of course while…

Kentucky Derby 142

May 11, 2016

If you know anything about the Kentucky Derby then you know it is all about the fashion, horse racing and signature cocktails. It took me weeks to plan out my outfits for this weekend. I gathered my inspiration by looking up what everyone is wore to the Melbourne Cup in Australia. I wanted to wear something a little unique. I decided headwear would set my outfit apart from others. In Australia, they wear unique pieces called fascinators . I partnered…

Growing up in Kentucky Derby is a week long holiday. Until I moved to California, I thought all schools were closed on Oaks day. Unfortunately, I spent my Oaks day at work instead of the track (#adulting is hard). I did however, attend the Oaks after party festivities. After work yesterday I got all done up for the Oaks after party, which was SO FUN! I headed straight to MADE,which is a local blow dry bar. This place is seriously the…

Hello, lovely people. I hope you are enjoying your Wednesday. Today’s post takes us back to Florida where Dale and I spent the weekend at his work conference. The conference took place at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando. Dale works for Thorntons and every year they hold a weekend were the employees and spouses get to relax, learn more about the company, attend awesome dinners, award ceremonies, and give back through community service. This year to give back on Humanitarian Day…

Hello Spring

April 22, 2016

I think the warm weather is finally here to stay in Louisville KY.  Am I the only one that finds it completely freeing and a load off of myself to be in less clothes? Sometimes I feel after winter I’m just so sick of lugging around all the extra stuff and layering. This Tobi Romper is jumpstarting my spring style. I love it in black (I always tend to gravitate towards darker colors) but they also have it in light blue…

“He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said.”  -Mathhew 28:6Hi guys! I hope that you had a blessed and happy Easter with your families. Today’s post is a little look into my Easter Sunday with my family. I am so thankful for Easter and to have the time to reflect on the life of Jesus and the sacrifice he paid for us on the cross. It really is crazy to comprehend that he loved us that much and…

Dy-no-mite!

It is officially Spring and I couldn’t be happier. Bring on the sunshine and new wardrobe pieces! I bought my first pair of loafers (at least in a while) this past weekend and I was so excited to pair them with this  jumpsuit. Something about this combo makes me feel very 70’s and I love it! One piece outfits like dresses, rompers, and jumpsuits are seriously my jam in the warmer weather because they are so easy to throw on and…

Happy Friday to all you lovely people! Today’s blog post features a look that I am super excited about wearing all Spring and Summer, which is anything off the shoulder. There are so many ways to wear a shirt like this. The way I am wearing this top is a great way to transition into warmer days. I am excited to pair tops like this with some denim shorts and sandals this Summer. I really love boho style with an edge…
