Couples That do Face Masks Together, Stay Together

June 10, 2015

It may seem that I have dropped off the face of the blogging world, but that is only because I am down to the wire with wedding planning. We are now 17 days away!!! Although I have been extremely busy, I have tried to make sometime to just relax and pamper myself. There are a few products that I have researched and decided to try before the wedding. One of my pre-wedding must haves is a face mask by Tru-Self Organics!

Something that I haven’t shared before on my blog is the fact that Dale and I try to use all natural + organic products. Honestly, I give all the credit to Dale for my obsession with researching and educating myself on what I am using on my body and in the home. I remember when I moved to California and met Dale I had never even eaten an avocado, and when he used the word “organic” it just pissed me off. I honestly didn’t understand why anyone would spend more money on a “healthy” version of the same tomato when you could get it cheaper not “organic”. Now, after research and a lot of label reading, I understand how products can effect us. One of my favorite things about Dale is that he actually listens and is interested about hearing me talk about face care products. He will read up on a brand with me and then urge me to buy it. In this case he is even willing to try the product with me (guys I got a really good guy).

Tru-Self Organics sent me this awesome face mask to try and it couldn’t have been better timing! As a blogger I never want to review or use a product for my readers that I am not genuinely excited or passionate about. I will not recommend a product and give a good review on something I don’t like or think is good for my readers. With that being said, I am so happy that I have found a healthy face mask to use! The ingredients in this mask are:

– Calcium bentonite clay, Kaolin, Moroccan red clay, Moroccan rhassoul clay, dead sea clay, Epsom salt, collagen hydrolysate.

No bad stuff either…

– No Parabens

– No Petroleum

– No Sodium Lauryl Sulfate

– No Phthalates

– No Artificial Dyes or Synthetic Fragrances11354721_10205584993083091_437644111_nIt is literally, the easiest mask to make too. It comes in a clay powder and all you have to do is add water and apply to a clean face. You really cannot mess it up. Since all the ingredients are healthy it is okay for all ages to use. I could really feel it pulling out all the bad stuff. It left my face feeling super soft and smooth. Dale noticed that it removed a lot of black heads for him and it left his face feeling tighter. Overall, I will for sure be using this mask the week of my wedding to give my skin the glow I need!
